Help Jeff with his Swimming Challenge for St Giles Animal Welfare & Rottie Friends Rescue

Jeff is an amazing volunteer and family member of St Giles Animal Welfare and we are so thrilled that he is challenging himself to go above and beyond for the animals in our care. The challenge is to raise funds for cash strapped animal rescue organisations who are under unprecedented pressure and to beat his previous personal best distance swim of 164 lengths.

Following the completion of Jeff’s challenge, St Giles will make a separate donation to the Rottie Friends Rescue And Soul Man Sanctuary of 10% of the total raised to reflect their ongoing support, especially in relation to Bert the St Bernard’s rehabilitation.

St Giles Animal Welfare will provide a safe and loving environment to animals who need our help. Every animal deserves a chance at their happy ever after and that is what we are dedicated to achieve.

Date of challenge:  Sunday 17th December
Start time: 06:30am
Finish: 08:45am approx.
Where:  Huish Episcopi Sports Centre
Challenge: 200 non stop lengths of a 25 metre pool = 3 miles.

The Rottie Rescue concentrates on rescuing, rehoming and providing sanctuary to Rottweilers and at least two other breeds (eg Chows), whilst Angela also provides behavioural assessments, training etc to a wide range of organisations and members of the public, including St Giles. They are based just outside of Wellington, Somerset.
